Counselling & Psychotherapy
Person –centered counselling is based on the understanding that we all have an innate ability to grow, flourish and reach our full potential, given the right environment.
Although my initial qualification was in the Person-Centered approach to counseling, I now have a holistic approach to therapy, which means that I use a number of different techniques to help each individual.
The therapy sessions are 50mins long. The number of sessions required can vary depending on the issues presented.
You will be treated in a respectful and professional manner at all times, and any written information will remain strictly confidential, unless you ask for it to be used or if something that is said or done is illegal.
Some of the issues I work with include: -
- Abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual)
- Anger management
- Bereavement and loss
- Carer support
- Depression and low moods
- Dyslexia (psychological support)
- Low self esteem and lack of confidence
- Panic disorder
- Passive aggressive behaviour
- Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
- Stress (both work and personal)
