Confidentiality and GDPR Statement: 

All of our interactions (conversations, emails, etc.) will remain strictly confidential and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Meaning, that we will not share any information provided by you with anyone else, without your express consent, unless you have told us something that leads us to believe that you pose a risk of harm to yourself or someone else in which case we would contact the relevant emergency contact, GP, service, or authority.  

Code of ethics:

As a fully registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society, we are bound by their code of ethics, a copy of which can be found here: National Hypnotherapy Society | Code of Ethics or will be made available on paper or by email on request.

Commitments and Integrity: 

If, in exceptional circumstances, we are unable to keep an appointment, we will notify you of this as soon as we know of the need to rearrange. We will always treat you with the highest level of integrity, honesty, professionalism, and respect. We will let you know if at any point in time, we feel that our involvement is not likely to make a positive difference in your life. This may involve recommending a different therapist, or method of treatment. 

We would also ask that you commit to our appointments, as they are scheduled, as well as your personal dedication to the process that we are undertaking together. This will likely include the need for you to ‘homework’ outside of the sessions. Although, this will be discussed, whenever necessary.  

Non-Judgment: 

Our roles as a hypnotherapists is entirely non-judgmental. There may be times when you will share information that may make you feel vulnerable, we assure you that we will treat your choices and actions (past, present, or future) with respect, and you will be treated with dignity.
